Well, that's how to end a game in style.

Los Angeles got a terrific game from left fielder Michael Torres. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Colorado, 7-5. Torres went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Chris Mincey, now 1-0, was credited with the win in 1 innings of relief. He allowed 1 run on 2 hits, while striking out 2 and walking 2.

Colorado got a knockout punch from Diego Benitez. The shortstop hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"This place went berserk," Benitez said.

Los Angeles, with the loss, is 17-16.
