Giants Orange Deal Guardians 5-1 Loss
|
Luis Garica imposed his will on the Guardians from the get-go. Relying mainly on his sinker, the right-hander spearheaded the 5-1 San Francisco (ACL) triumph. Garica picked up the win for San Francisco (ACL), going 6 innings. He gave up no runs on 3 hits. He now sports a record of 1-1. The 'W' lifts San Francisco (ACL)'s record to 7-18.
San Francisco (ACL) used a clutch at-bat from Ismael Bigio to capture the win. The catcher hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Giants Orange ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
"Luis looked very determined to have a good game," said San Francisco (ACL) manager Randy Schwartz. "He was totally focused and he produced."
