Amarillo Sod Poodles starter Toby Crane turned in an exceptional performance against the Arkansas Travelers at Hodgetown, resulting in a Amarillo win, 3-2. Greg Glines was the winner in relief. His record is now 2-1. The losing pitcher was Jesus Ramos. The save went to Steve Garen, number 6 for him.

Amarillo took a 3-2 lead on Tim Harvey's 8th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Harvey hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Arkansas pitcher Jesus Ramos visibly frustrated.

"Both teams played hard," said Amarillo manager Jon Berry.

The second-place Travelers dropped to 69-64.
