Sea Dogs Grind Out 2-0 Win
|
Portland got a first-rate effort from pitcher Zach Campos, who frustrated Harrisburg hitters en route to a 2-0 Sea Dogs triumph at FNB Field. Juan Cuevas was credited with the save for Portland, his 27th of the season. With the win, Portland raised its record to 65-57.
Josh Barrier had a direct impact on the outcome. Barrier contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put Portland up, 1-0.
Barrier was in a reflective mood after the contest. He told the Portland Herald, "Every game is it's own challenge. That's what keeps the competitive fire alive."
