Perez Wins SAL Best Player Award Monday, August 18th , 2025 A red-hot bat made Junior Perez the obvious choice for this week's South Atlantic League Player of the Week. The Greensboro left fielder laid down some numbers that no one else could match, including a .455 average on 10 hits in 22 at-bats, 3 home runs, 9 RBIs, and 6 runs scored. Say no more ... he got the award. For the season, Perez is currently batting .228 with 6 home runs and 14 RBIs. In 49 games he has reached base at a .360 rate and scored 18 runs to date. |
