Snelling King of Fling with No-Hitter
Robby Snelling relied on excellent pitch selection and pinpoint control to hold Frisco hitless in a win, 5-0, at Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium.

"Nobody goes out to pitch a no-hitter," he said later. "We just go out and try to get a win. A 10-9 win is better than a 1-0 loss. My pitching buddies might not be too happy giving up nine runs but a win is a win. The key to it today was I mixed my pitches well. I kept the RoughRiders off balance and guessing the whole game."

The 21-year-old starter rung up 12 strikeouts and 2 walks in whipping the RoughRiders.

"When a guy is throwing strikes the way he was and is locating well, it is going to be a long day for any club," Frisco skipper Carlos Cardoza said.

So far this season, Snelling has logged a 5-6 record with a 3.43 ERA. He has started 14 games, hurled 84 innings and registered 84 strikeouts and 39 walks.
