Markham Loses Rodolfo Chavira for Season Monday, August 6th , 2018 The season is ending on a bad note for Rodolfo Chavira, closer for the Markham Thunder. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Chavira was hurt against the Anse La Raye Snorkelers while throwing a pitch. He suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament and will be out for at least 12 months. This year, Chavira has made 34 relief appearances and saved 3. His record is 3-3 with 28 strikeouts in 35.2 innings and a 4.04 ERA. |
