Blasier Set to Retire Sunday, August 1st , 2010 After what he called a "long and rewarding" career in professional baseball, Mike Blasier has announced he will retire. The Las Vegas Rollers reliever said it wasn't an easy decision to make, but this season will be his last and he's now "content" with his choice to walk away at age 37. Blasier's career stats show a 31-65 record, 304 appearances, 13 saves and a 4.46 ERA. He has 517 strikeouts in 876 innings pitched. |
