Choiseul-St. Barts Brawl, Villalpando and Sias Suspended Thursday, June 3rd , 2010 Gotzone Villalpando of the Choiseul Pitons and Carlos Sias of the St. Barts Silver Surfers will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 4 and 2 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Pitons-Silver Surfers game at Choiseul Park. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Villalpando and Sias will begin serving them soon. This season Villalpando is hitting .187 with 28 hits, 4 home runs, 15 RBIs, scored 16 runs and played in 49 games. This year Sias has notched 2 saves. He has 26 strikeouts and 17 walks in 31 innings while registering a 2.90 ERA and a 1-1 won-lost record. |
