Kona Takes League Championship Series
The Kona Hot Rocks will continue the trek towards a World Series title, while the Chicago Whales are headed home for the season.

Kona won the League Championship Series with a clinching game 5-3 victory at Virginia Beach Stadium, concluding the series at 4-2.

"We didn't want this thing to go any further, that's for sure," Zackery McNett said after officially being named series MVP.

He turned in a dominant offensive performance to win the award, with a .391 batting average, .462 on-base percentage, 1 home runs, 2 RBI and 5 runs scored.

The Kona Hot Rocks don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Buenos Aires Dream - Oklahoma City Barons series. That series is tied at 3 games apiece. The World Series schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes.
