Huskies Clip Bite 4-3 in CS Contest
|
In a crucial game, the Toronto Huskies put on their best show, beating the Adelaide Bite by a final score of 4-3 today. Dan Parker went 5 for 7 with a double and 4 singles. Toronto and Adelaide are now tied at 1 wins apiece in the best-of-7 affair.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 14th inning, when Toronto first baseman Miguel de Cena, facing John Good, had a run-scoring single. It gave the Huskies the 4-3 win.
de Cena called the win "a team effort."
