Shellbacks Earn 4-1 Road Win Over Rome
|
The Galapagos Shellbacks beat the Rome Centurions, 4-1. Galapagos pitcher and Parsippany, New Jersey, native Jesus Fuentes led the way. The save went to Hae-min Kang, number 35 for him. The third-place Shellbacks now have a record of 80-66.
In the top of the first, Gregor Mendel pounced on a fastball from Marco Bravo and hit a 2-run double. It gave Galapagos a quick 2-0 lead.
"Right now, things are falling our way," said Galapagos manager Eric Allison.
