Spiders first baseman Casey McDaniel put his stamp on his team's 10-8 win over the Vancouver Homewreckers. McDaniel was 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for Cleveland in the contest. The win belongs to Axel Bader in relief. His record improves to 6-6. Tom Lawrence took the loss for Vancouver. Vancouver has now lost 4 in a row.

McDaniel had a game-changing home run in the top of the tenth. On a 0-1 sinker from Tom Lawrence, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Spiders a 10-8 lead. It was the 19th home run of the year for McDaniel.

In postgame comments, McDaniel said he was glad to contribute to an exciting win.
