In a high-scoring contest between Toronto and Sao Paulo, designated hitter Tim Saenger was a difference-maker. Saenger, who finished 2nd in the NL in slugging percentage with .558 in 2008, distinguished himself in the 11-8 Toronto win. He went 3-5 with a home run, 2 doubles, and a walk.
