Sint Maarten and Longbow duked it out and the Sun Chasers came out victorious.

Sint Maarten picked up a win at Sun Chasers Grounds, bumping off the Longbow Hunters, 4-2. Pitcher Justin Everson was a major reason the Sun Chasers emerged victorious. Everson, now 11-11, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 4, walking 0, and allowing 2 runs. Miguel Cadena recorded his 31st save for Sint Maarten.

The Hunters had been locked in a 1-1 tie with the Sun Chasers going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the slugging third baseman Kelsey Currell came to the plate. Currell hit a 2-run home run on a 2-1 fastball from Longbow hurler Jordi Beeks. It was Currell's 38th home run of the year.

Currell said his team "played with determination."

Sint Maarten is now riding a 3-game win streak.
