Galapagos third baseman Ray Coler had a 3-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Rome Centurions, 3-2. Jesus Fuentes, the winner, goes to 10-7. He allowed 2 runs on 7 hits, with 3 walks and 6 strikeouts over 7.2 innings. Rey Sandoval earned the save for Galapagos, his 8th.
In the first inning, Coler had a 3-run home run for Galapagos. It was his 17th home run of the season and put the Shellbacks on top, 3-0.
In postgame comments to the Galapagos Chronicle, Coler said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
