4-1 Loss Extends Rome Losing Streak
|
Toronto beat Rome on the strength of starting pitcher Dave Albiter's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-1. Savion Garrett recorded the save, his 22nd. The last-place Centurions have lost 6 straight games.
In the bottom of the second, with Toronto leading 1-0, Miguel de Cena hit a slider from Danny Lopez for a 2-run single, giving the Huskies the lead, 3-0.
"If the personal accolades come, so be it," said Albiter. "I just want to win ballgames."
