The umbrellas came out during the CH-YDNA contest at Yokohama Stadium.

In a low-scoring contest between the CH Dragons and the YDNA BayStars, Shintaro Fujinami was the X factor. The CH right-hander spearheaded the 3-1 win. Fujinami picked up the win for CH, going 7 innings. He gave up 1 run on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 2-0.

Akira Neo, who is tied for 4th in the JCL in home runs with 5, had a direct impact on the outcome. Neo contributed a 2-run single in the top of the first inning to put CH up, 2-0.

"Whenever we hold the other team to one run," said Dragons manager Tomoya Mikami, "I like our chances."

With the victory, the Dragons upped their record to 22-18.
