The Incheon Braves used a great performance from Kota Katekaru, who is tied for 4th in the OH with a 1.09 WHIP, to beat the Suwon Albirex, 3-1, at Oyama Athlete Park Baseball Stadium. Katekaru, now 3-5, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 10, walking 1, and allowing 1 run. Picking up the save was Shohei Numata, his 3rd.

Masakazu Kihara, who is tied for 2nd in the OH in triples with 3, chipped in a solo home run for Incheon in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the center fielder had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 1 run batted in.

"Nice, tidy little win," Kihara said after the game.

With the win, Incheon pushed its record to 41-25.
