Grandserows Suffer One-Run Loss at Suwon
Suwon starter Towa Uema put the Changwon offense in a vise grip. The right-hander relied heavily on his slider in leading the Albirex to a 1-0 win. Uema picked up the win for Suwon, going 6.2 innings. He gave up no runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 5-0. Picking up his 12th save was 22-year old right-handed pitcher Mashashi Takehara.

Tsunetoshi Sakamoto hit a run-scoring triple off Shigeru Urata in the bottom of the first, which put the Albirex in front, 1-0. Sakamoto had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 4.

"That's us at our best," Sakamoto told the Suwon Daily News. "Pitching and trying to prevent runs."

The win lifted the Suwon record to 26-17.
