Mizuno, Jeonju Prevail in Pitchers' Duel
|
Kazuhiro Mizuno was outstanding against Changwon. The right-hander, who is tied for 3rd in the NOM in quality starts with 6, had a sinker that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Thunderbirds 2-0 win. Rodolfo Gonzalez nailed down his 9th save. So far in 2025, Jeonju is 16-25.
Mizuno kept the Grandserows under his thumb. He scattered 3 hits over 8 innings, while striking out 14. The right-hander upped his season record to 2-3.
"My gosh almighty, Kazuhiro was tremendous," said Jeonju manager Yoshihiro Ito.
