Buffaloes Thrill Fans with 5-4 Win
Ajisai Stadium Kita-Kobe did not lack for drama.

FSB (Ni-Gun) got a terrific game from left fielder Noriyoshi Mitani. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to OR (Ni-Gun), 5-4, in 10 innings. Mitani went 3 for 4 with a triple, a double, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The win went to Daichi Takeyasu in relief, making him now 3-1. Andy Rodriguez took the loss for FSB (Ni-Gun).

The Buffaloes got a clutch hit from right fielder Yukiyoshi Murase. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Buffaloes.

"This game had its share of tense moments," Murase said, postgame.

The win hiked the OR (Ni-Gun) record to 25-16.
