In a game played at Oriole Park at Camden Yards, the Miami second baseman blistered the Baltimore Orioles for 5 hits in 6 at-bats to pace his club to a good 5-3 victory. "Hoerner was too tough to get out," Orioles skipper Jackal O's said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too."
