Devers Week's Top Player Monday, June 23rd , 2025 St. Louis fans have something to crow about today as St. Louis third baseman Rafael Devers nabbed the National League Player of the Week Award for his performance over the last seven days. "I know there are times when it's hard to lay off pitches. Everyone goes through stretches when he's too eager to put the ball in play. You know, though, I feel like this past week I was able to get in the right frame of mind and just let things come naturally," said Devers. He posted a .500 average (9-for-18) this past week with 5 home runs, 8 RBIs, and 7 runs scored. So far this season, Devers has put up a .274 batting average with 78 hits, 24 home runs and 64 RBIs. |
