Cubs Sasaki May's Top Hurler Sunday, June 1st , 2025 When Roki Sasaki takes the hill, chances are good for a Chicago victory. At least that's the way it was in May. He excelled with a 6-0 mark and 0.42 ERA in 6 starts, tossed 43 innings, fanned 60 and held others clubs to a .144 average. That's why the Cubs star was honored today as the Pitcher of the Month by the National League. Currently Sasaki has a 8-3 won-lost record in 12 starts with a 2.76 ERA.
