Los Angeles Angels starter Bryce Elder pitched a strong game against the Minnesota Twins at Target Field, leading the Angels to victory, 5-3. Los Angeles, now 6-2, is playing great baseball to start the year.

Dominic Fletcher had a big 2-run triple for the Angels in the top of the third inning. With Los Angeles leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a fastball from 29-year old right-handed pitcher Pablo Lopez and swatted a triple to right. It was his 1st triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Angels ahead, 3-0.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Fletcher.
