Houston turned a good effort from starter Kodai Senga into a win over the Chicago Cubs at Minute Maid Park. The Astros won the game, 6-2. Justin Martinez nailed down his 3rd save. With the loss, Chicago falls to 4-5.

Adley Rutschman had a big 3-run home run for the Astros in the bottom of the second inning. With Houston leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he sized up a curveball from 25-year old right-handed pitcher Reese Olson and punished it. The result was his 1st home run of the season, which put the Astros on top, 4-0.

"We played a good game and came out on top," said Senga.
