Gimenez Helps Boston Cruise to 10-3 Win
Opening day festivities have begun throughout the league. Fans of the Texas Rangers were eager to watch Drew Rom square off against Carlos Rodón of the visiting Boston Red Sox. In the end, the Red Sox won the game, 10-3, with Andres Gimenez leading the way.

Boston used the hitting of Nick Castellanos to pick up the win. The right fielder clubbed a grand slam home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Red Sox on top, 5-2. For the game, Castellanos had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"It feels good to get this one," Castellanos told the Boston Daily.
