Milwaukee Slaps 4-0 Loss on Los Angeles
|
The Los Angeles Dodgers got a sterling performance from pitcher Tyler Glasnow, but the Milwaukee Brewers still prevailed, 4-0. Glasnow threw 6.1 innings of 2-hit ball. Brady Singer snagged the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits over 2.1 innings. He's now 5-7 on the season. The first-place Brewers, at 57-37, lead the National League Central Division by 7½ games.
Milwaukee took a 2-0 lead on Masataka Yoshida's 10th home run of the season. The solo home run, which Yoshida hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Los Angeles pitcher Tyler Glasnow visibly frustrated.
Yoshida told a Milwaukee Herald reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
