Alexandria Sends Runihura to Kolkata Saturday, February 21st , 2111 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Lumber Kings announced today the acquisition of 30-year old LF Hud Sharif from the Kolkata Blue Hens in exchange for 30-year old 2B Yahya Runihura. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Lumber Kings, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." Runihura has a career .275 average with 288 hits, including 58 doubles, 6 triples and 7 homers, collected 80 RBIs, scored 134 runs and compiled a .337 OBP. Lifetime Sharif is hitting .235 with 144 hits, 32 doubles, 3 triples and 24 home runs. He has scored 86 runs and driven in 67. |
