The 25-year-old third baseman sent three bombs out of the park to help the Sea Lions beat the Ottawa Cats, 16-4, at Field of the Cats. "When you're in the zone, the game really slows down," Maya said when asked about his performance later. "I couldn't even tell you what pitches were thrown. Today feels great, but it is a long season and tomorrow is another day." For the day, he scored 3 times, drove in 7 runs and smacked 3 hits in 4 at-bats. Kevalin Maya hit a two-run home run off Aeneas Gavril in the 2nd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Aeneas Gavril in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Anwa Anasa in the 7th and walked in the 8th.
