Nnanna Extends Hit Streak to 20 Games Saturday, June 27th , 2111 With 2 hits at Great American Ball Park, Dula Nnanna added another game to his hitting streak -- the Doha center fielder has now hit safely for 20 games in a row. But the hitting feat wasn't enough for the Reds, as they fell, 5-0, to the Krakow Chiefs. "Frankly, I don't care about hits," Krakow manager Alex Catalan said later. "I'll let him get 4 hits in 4 at-bats if it means we get a win." Dula Nnanna grounded out in the 1st, doubled in the 4th, struck out in the 6th and singled in the 9th. Nnanna currently has a .336 batting average with 71 hits, 3 homers, 29 RBIs, 33 runs scored and a .364 OBP. |
