Players Suspended in Carnival-Velocity Donnybrook Thursday, July 17th , 2110 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Salvador-Sicily contest at Jackals Ballpark. The Carnival Francisco Morales and the Velocity Willie Ramiraz will have to sit out 3 and 6 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. This year Ramiraz has chalked up a 4.26 ERA with no saves. In 14 relief appearances he has put up a 0-1 won-lost mark and struck out 16 batters in 25.1 innings. |
