Berlin Sends Rousset to Istanbul Monday, June 15th , 2111 In a move that has fans in both cities buzzing, the Berlin Black Eagles and the Istanbul Scimitars have agreed to a deal that will have 22-year old minor league SS Michel Rousset, 21-year old minor league RHP Hmayak Saghian, a 3rd round draft pick, and a 5th round draft pick heading to Istanbul in exchange for 25-year old minor league 1B Roble Kafara and 24-year old minor league RHP Gunottama Venkateshwara. Provided they pass a physical, the players should be with their respective teams in time for tomorrow's games. This season, Kafara is batting at a .209 clip with 2 home runs and 6 RBIs. |
