Bashers Heading to Division Series

The La Paz Bashers "bent but didn't break" against the Thessaloniki Huskies in the Wildcard Series.
That's according to Tekle-Ab Onyebuchi of La Paz, who was named series MVP.
"Our guys faced adversity and overcame it. This series wasn't easy, but we stuck to our game and made it work," he said.
La Paz won the final game by a 2-1 count and the series 3-1.
Onyebuchi's MVP performance included hitting .500 with a .500 on-base percentage. He also had 1 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 2 runs.
The La Paz Bashers don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Valencia Pioneers - Brasilia Cosmos series. Valencia leads the series 2 games to 1. The Division Series schedule will be announced after the Wildcard Series finishes.
