Thrice Is Nice: Petry Unloads 3 Homers Friday, September 25th , 2026 Ethan Petry was sending souvenirs to the sun gods all game long in the 14-8 St. Lucie Mets triumph at Joker Marchant Stadium. The 22-year-old put on a show for fans, launching not one, not two, but three home runs into the stands and powering the Mets past the Lakeland Flying Tigers. "One homer's good, two's great, three's out of sight," Petry told BNN reporters after the game. "I can't wait until next game. I really feel good at the plate." The first baseman went 4-for-6, rung up 5 RBIs and scored 4 runs on his record-setting day. Ethan Petry grounded out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Joe Adametz in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off CJ Weins in the 4th, struck out in the 6th, doubled in the 8th and hit a two-run home run off Duque Hebbert in the 9th. Petry is currently batting .284 with 33 home runs and 99 RBIs. |
