Plaz Nails 4 Homers Against Fort Myers Thursday, September 3rd , 2026 Axiel Plaz victimized Fort Myers Mighty Mussels hurlers, smashing 4 home runs in a herculean effort that will go down in the Florida State League record books. In an epic hitting spree at LECOM Park, the Bradenton catcher went downtown again and again, leading the Marauders to a win, 15-6. He went 5-for-5, drove in 8 runs and scored 5 times in the historic game. "The first ones just happened," he said later, discussing the game. "However, that last time, I was swinging for the fences -- and WHAM -- I nailed it." Axiel Plaz singled in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Xavier Kolhosser in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Jose Olivares in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Zander Sechrist in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Jacob Kisting in the 8th.
