Seattle (DSL) Snaps Oswald Streak at 23 Wednesday, July 26th , 2028 The hitting streak that Boston (DSL) right fielder Chad Oswald had kept going for 23 games was ended by the Seattle (DSL) Mariners. Oswald was stymied over 3 at-bats, but the rest of his team picked him up, getting the 7-4 victory at Seattle Mariners Complex. "Hitting streaks come and go," Oswald said. "It did put a little pressure on me. It's hard to be natural at the plate with something like that always in the back of your mind. If it had to end, I'm glad it was in a win." For the season, Oswald is hitting at a .388 clip with 6 home runs, 33 RBIs and has scored 35 runs. He has 50 hits, 23 walks and a .484 on-base percentage. |
