Santos on Fire: 5-for-5 for Kansas City (DSL)
Wednesday, August 4th , 2027
It was a sensational day at the plate for Enmanuel Santos as he led the charge to a nifty 15-5 win over the Brewers 1. The Kansas City (DSL) left fielder was pure misery for the Milwaukee (DSL) pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked with 5 hits in 5 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting.
"Santos put the ball into play and he really hit it hard," said Reid Cornelius, manager for the Brewers 1, after the game. "When you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball."
Enmanuel Santos singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and walked in a run in the 7th.
Looking at his stats this year, Santos has compiled a .333 batting average, while hitting no home runs and driving in 16 runs. He has played in 30 games and scored 13 runs.
