He easily handled Athletics pitching, going 5 for 6 and helping the Giants Orange triumph, 13-0, at Juan Marichal Complex. "The way I was swinging, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview. Told of Polanco's quip, Athletics skipper Cooper Goldby said he "would take him up on that next time." Andy Polanco singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Jhomber Jimenez in the 6th, singled in the 8th and grounded out in the 9th.
