Anderson Cardenas Hurt, Will Miss Rest of Year Friday, August 1st , 2025 The doctors have spoken and Anderson Cardenas of the Arizona (DSL) Diamondbacks Red didn't like what he heard. The 19-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Cardenas sustained his season-ending injury during the Detroit (DSL) Tigers 2 game yesterday at Baseball City Complex. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Arizona (DSL) medical staff reported Cardenas had a torn rotator cuff and would be absent from the lineup for at least 13-14 months. |
