Rios Selected Top Player Monday, July 7th , 2025 Not every ball that came off Alejandro Rios's bat last week was a line drive or a towering shot -- it just seemed that way to the teams that played the Arizona (DSL) Diamondbacks Red. For his exploits, Rios was named this week's Dominican Rookie League Player of the Week award. The Arizona (DSL) catcher put up 13 hits in 23 at-bats and 2 home runs while hitting .565 with 10 RBIs and 5 runs scored. Batting .315 to date, Rios has 3 home runs and 17 RBIs. |
