Huge Year for Tigers Schiefelbein, Nabs Outstanding Pitcher Award Wednesday, July 21st , 2027 When the name of Ethan Schiefelbein appeared on the Detroit (FCL) lineup card in 2027, it was a virtual guarantee of a victory or at least a well-pitched game. For his brilliant performance this season he was named the Florida Complex League Outstanding Pitcher Award winner today. He started 11 games, running up a 4-2 record and a 1.66 ERA. Schiefelbein held opponents to a .164 average while striking out 89, walking 19 and allowing 34 hits in 59.2 innings of work. He received 15 first place votes, as a unanimous winner.
