5-for-8 Game for Weinstein Saturday, May 20th , 2028 CJ Weinstein was at the head of a Milwaukee (ACL) hit parade at American Family Fields of Phoenix. The shortstop went to the plate 8 times and came away with 5 hits, sparking the Brewers Gold to a nice 27-3 victory over the Seattle (ACL) Mariners. "I told the guys in the dugout, just be thinking about hitting the ball hard somewhere," the sweet-swinging Weinstein told reporters after the game. "Seems like it worked out well for us today." Mariners skipper Luis Caballero said later that the club gave up "too much plate." "Not the way we planned it," he said. "Every hitter in the league will rip you when you do that." CJ Weinstein hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 1st, doubled in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 6th, grounded out in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th.
