Shupe Extends Hit Streak to 20 Games Thursday, July 1st , 2027 The Seattle (ACL) Mariners fell to the Los Angeles N (ACL) Dodgers in Camelback Ranch, even as 23-year-old second baseman Hudson Shupe upped his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games. Shupe finished with 1 hit in 4 at-bats, but could not stop the Mariners from dropping the 6-1 decision. "Yeah, I kept my streak going, but it would have been better to come away with a win," said Shupe. Hudson Shupe struck out in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, singled in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th. This year, Shupe has hit 9 home runs and posted a .314 batting average. |
