De La Cruz and Leon Suspended for Free-for-All Tuesday, September 12th , 2028 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Visalia-Rancho Cucamonga contest at LoanMart Field. The Rawhide Abdias De La Cruz and the Quakes Edgar Leon will have to sit out 4 and 6 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. This year, De La Cruz is hitting at a .206 pace with 10 home runs and 35 RBIs. He has played in 96 games and scored 45 times. In 14 starts this year, Leon has recorded a 6-1 record and a 2.82 ERA. |
