Lunceford Dominates Grizzlies in 6-0 Shutout
Thursday, August 17th , 2028
Logan Lunceford was in a mood to talk following the Modesto Nuts contest against the Fresno Grizzlies, expounding to BNN reporters on his pitching philosophy. He had good reason to be excitable, having tossed a complete game shutout of the Grizzlies, 6-0.
"There are three important elements in pitching success: location, location, and location," Lunceford said. "I was hitting my spots time and time again."
The right-hander blanked Fresno on a 5-hitter, allowing 2 walks and racking up 10 strikeouts.
On the year, Lunceford has worked 151.1 innings with 191 strikeouts en route to a 12-3 record and 2.50 ERA.
