Week's Top Player: Fresno's Perez Monday, May 8th , 2028 Fresno Grizzlies left fielder Luis Perez walked away with the California League Player of the Week Award today after putting up some impressive numbers over the past seven days. "The Grizzlies fans are really behind me right now," said the 25-year-old. "That helps. They give you the confidence to go out there and do better." Perez batted .583 (7-for-12) with 2 home runs and 4 RBIs this week on his way to the award. To date this year, Perez is batting .317 with 2 home runs. |
