CAL Reliever of the Year Winner Named Saturday, October 16th , 2027 He may only be 23, but Carter Gaston of the Fresno Grizzlies has already established himself as one of the elite relievers in the California League. The reliever was today named the CAL Reliever of the Year winner for 2027. He won the award with a strong year that saw him put up 3 saves in 35 relief appearances and 107 strikeouts in 81 innings.
