At the young age of only 23, Yujanyer Herrera has been named the California League Reliever of the Year winner for 2026.

The future appears bright for the Fresno Grizzlies relief ace, who captured the award with 23 saves in 40 relief appearances, 59 strikeouts in 50.2 innings and a record of 6-2 to go with his 1.78 ERA.

He received 6 first place votes out of a possible 8. Vince Sanchez of the Visalia Rawhide finished second in voting with 2 first place votes, while Cody Morse of the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes finished third.
